Virtual Memory Cafe – What Animals Teach Us
October 2 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm
We are offering our first Library Memory Project Community Read this fall! We will be reading and discussing the short story book, How to Be a Good Creature: A Memoir in Thirteen Animals by Sy Montgomery. With the support of the 100 Women Who Care – MKE Metro West group, we are able to offer one free book to each household to keep.
If you would like to register to receive the book and join us for a special memory cafe on Friday, October 2 at 1:30 p.m., please use this link [a form will open].
We hope to see you on October 2 to talk about this interesting book and what we learn from the animals in our lives. We can’t wait to hear your stories!
About the Author: “Understanding someone who belongs to another species can be transformative. No one knows this better than author, naturalist, and adventurer Sy Montgomery. To research her books, Sy has traveled the world and encountered some of the planet’s rarest and most beautiful animals. From tarantulas to tigers, Sy’s life continually intersects with and is informed by the creatures she meets.” More information about the author.
